I have noticed, over the past 12 months, the impact the 40th anniversary versions of Action Man has had on collectors, value and the enthusiasm for the whole scene. I think it is sad that some good friends of mine are now considering selling up their collections as the fun of finding a rare part or finally finishing a full set has been ruined by the ease of access to imitation bits.

My initial reaction to the announcment of the 40th sets was 'It's like giving a bucket load of methadone to a heroin addict.... It will do but its just not quite the same.' It's now obvious that in the wrong hands methandone can become even more dangerous!!!!

I urge all collectors to be proud of having a 40th FREE collection, Use the banner above or ones available in the Files Section of this site to show your support.

ACTION MAN DESKTOP WALLPAPER AVAILABLE
